Hi I'm Kim

I grew up in Utah, Colorado and Hawaii. I am a therapist and I work with people with brain injuries. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am in my 40s and single. I have been very blessed in my life even though it hasn't turned out the way I thought it would. At work, I get to help amazing and inspiring patients. In my spare time, I play with my nieces and nephews, water or snow ski, travel, hike, bike, enjoy photography and spend time in the great outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for so many reasons. I grew up Mormon, but that didn't mean I grew up knowing that the church was the right one for me. I studied, prayed, fasted, and repeated the process many times. The answers didn't come all at once, but I found out through many different experiences the truths of the gospel. One time, I was searching for answers. I had fasted, prayed and still had not received my answer. I didn't give up though. I decided to pray 20 minutes every night until I had my answer. What happened was greater than I can describe here, just know that I absolutely know that the church is true, that we have a Loving Father, who will visit us in spite of weakness, and that the Book of Mormon is true. I know it so deeply through this experience, and many others. Trust me. Pray about it- really pray and fast and read the Book of Mormon. I know you will find out yourself and you won't need to take my word for it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying daily to help others. I also teach Sunday School and I regularly visit 2 women in my congregation to make sure they are doing well and have all they need. I live my faith by praying for my patients. I live my faith by trying to treat others the way Jesus would have them treated, with great love and respect. I try to take care of those around me with warmth, even when they are not kind to me.

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

Trust me. I am single. We don't practice polygamy. Show more Show less
