Hi I'm Joseph

I'm a Mormon. I work in the construction industry, both residential and commercial.

About Me

I enjoy building/making things. I love sports. I spent most of my life playing soccer. I coach football and basketball. I enjoy snowboarding and ice skating. My degree is in International Communications. However, my current profession is working in the commercial masonry sector and remodel/basement finishing for the residential sector. My wife is from California and we have a teenage son. We keep quite busy, but enjoy relaxing as a family playing games or watching a movie. My son and I try to make a trip to Zion's National Park once a year to do some canyoneering.

Why I am a Mormon

Quite simply, I have a strong distaste for wasting time. Though I was raised within the LDS faith, I came to a point, while in high school, where I needed to know if what I was taught was actually true or if I was wasting my time. I had coasted on my parent's belief up until that point. I decided to take my concern to my Heavenly Father. While I was praying, the impression on my heart and mind were unmistakeably clear. I suppose, just like what I teach my players and my son, you get out of something what you put into it. It was a sincere prayer and I gave it all I had. Since then, I have striven to live the teachings of the church to my best ability.

How I live my faith

I currently have the responsibility of teaching the adults in church. I also work with the scouts. Other ways we live our faith; We pray as a family in the morning and evening each day. We attend church on Sunday. Our son goes to youth activities each week. Each Monday evening we have dedicated family time. We read scriptures as a family each day
