Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a missionary

About Me

I am 19 years old and I am from Hurricane, Utah. I graduated from Hurricane High School in 2011. I grew up on a farm. We had a pecan orchard and we also grew melons, corn, tomatoes, and other fruits and vegetables. I learned the concepts of hard work, dedication, sacrifice and patience. Since I grew up in a rural environment, I learned to really appreciate the outdoors. Many of my hobbies involve being outdoors. I love Jeeping, four-wheeling, bike riding and camping. I also love going to the lake to swim or do other water sports. Right now I am serving a mission for the church. I am serving in the Oregon Eugene mission. I know that is the right thing for me to do at this point in my life. I have seen the joy that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought to me and my family and I would be ungrateful if i didn't have a desire to share it with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have lived the principles that the gospel teaches and I have found out for myself that it works. I know that something that helps my life can't come from something that isn't real or is made up. The gospel of Jesus Christ has to be true because it works. I would not say that if i didn't believe it with all my heart. I know that God loves me and that he desires the very best for me. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and that he knows me personally. I know that if i rely on Christ he will help me with anything that I need.

How I live my faith

At this time in my life, I am serving a 2-year mission for the church. I'm from Utah and I have been called by a prophet of God to teach people about the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Oregon. It is a very important calling to me and take it very seriously. I am away from all my family and friends and I have put aside all personal matters to focus on the assignment that I have been given.
