Hi I'm Heather

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert to the church, just recently baptized on September 11th, 2011. I am from Southern California and I'm currently in graduate school, working towards my doctorate in Physical Therapy. I love to read books other than textbooks. I like to be active and try to exercise regularly.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as Catholic my whole life and not until a couple years ago did I realize there was something missing in my life. When attending church, I felt like there was something more out there, something better for me. I had thoughts about converting to Mormonism, but was afraid of change. It took the wonderful blessing of a great guy in my life and our very difficult break up for me to here the message of the Holy Spirit, telling me this man was placed in my life so that I could enjoy the wonderful blessings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know the Book of Mormon is true and I am so grateful for the many blessings Heavenly Father has given me since joining The Church, which have helped me during my difficult time.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping the Sabbath holy and reading my scriptures every day. I try to be a good example for my non-member friends and family and invite them to church and other church functions as much as possible. I fulfill my church calling to the best of my ability and love the opportunity I have to help the young women as they go through difficult times in their lives.
