Hi I'm Belinda

Hi I am a Alternative Care Practioner and I love helping others. I"m a Mormon and have been all my life.

About Me

Working and serving others has always been a part of my life. Being a mother of 5 children, grandmother, and greatgrand mother, has taught me there is plenty of love in this world we just need to share it. In my practice I have learned that love is capable of changing lives if we turn to our Savior and trust him. Miracles happen everyday we just have to be observant and give the Lord credit. I teach and try to help my studenst realize they have such great potiental and as children of God we can accomplish things we never dreamed of. Dare to dream and dare to trust for with faith all things are possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I can't remember not knowing God. He has been my best friend since I was a little child. My Parents were mormon but not active, so I grew up with little formal gospel training, yet an inate know that the Lord knew me and I thrieved on that fact. Off and on growing up I sought out opportunites to go to church. Finally as an adult I chose to make a committ, ment to the Lord that he would always be the center of my life. That doesn't mean I became prefect it just means I choose to do my best try to follow the commandments and include him in everypart of my life To rely on him in all aspects of my life. When our last child was born blind I knew the Lord would help me to adjust find a way. Then one afternoon just before the baby was to have his 2nd surgrey he recieved a Priesthood blessing from a worthy Priesthood holder. With that blessing he recieved not only confirmation the Lord loved him and was aware of our struggles but the gift of sight was restored. A Miracle came into our lives! This little child who had had first surgrey confirmed blindness was healed! Not always are our prayers anwered with a miracle other times we must endure and trust the Lord that this to shall be for our on good. We must trust him and be faithful. This gospel is true God lives and he loves His that means YOU and me!

How I live my faith

I have been a full time Mormon most of my life, teaching youth groups, organizing camps, conferences, programs that establish self esteem and purpose. In the church we have great humanitarian opportunites. I was able in Africa to help distribute wheel chairs, support a NeoNatal group, even had a hand in a well project that created a healthy source of water for thousands and thousands of people. I love the feeling of compassion and caring as each member is looked after and encouraged by the members. Monthly visits to indiviual members help you to feel connected to a far larger plan than just your own home town. I travel and often find my self not at home on Sunday but I know where I am the church is the same and I am welcome and the chapel I attend is filled with new friends I haven't meant. Only God could care enough to restore His gospel and provide for me the strengthen and support I need in these troubled and challenging times. Yes I am a Mormon, I know God lives, this gospel is His gospel and He is in charge. I Love Him,!

In whom should we have faith?

Belinda
I can not remember every NOT know that God Loves Me and that Jesus is my Brother. I know he is real and I know he cares about me. I also know that every child born on this earth is equal in his sight. We are brothers and sisters connected to our Heavenly Parents who want us to find our way home to them. In the end we will stand up and know that they are there and this is all real! My earthly parents have passed away and there are days my heart hurts so bad. Knowing through Christ and his atonement if I do my part we can be together again fills me with a desire to shout out to the world come follow him. He will lead us home! Show more Show less
