Hi I'm Emily

I'm a college graduate working as piano teacher with dreams to travel the world and strengthen families.

About Me

I'm a college graduate with a degree in piano. I enjoy dancing, hiking, and spending time with people. I love my family with all my heart and hope to one day start one of my own. I love meeting my 'spiritual' brothers and sisters in this life and hope to one day travel many places. I was a full-time missionary in Japan where I had the time of my life. I love the gospel very much. It is my rock.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living a Christ-centered life gives me peace and happiness I literally can not find anywhere else. I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon and the Bible work together for our good; we can know more about out Heavenly Home, our earthly journey, and how to one day return to live again with our Father in Heaven. I am a Mormon because the complete, restored gospel of Jesus Christ gives us all the puzzle pieces to a true, whole, and pure understanding of our individual worth and how our Heavenly Father still speaks to us today through a living prophet. I am Mormon because a full knowledge of God's plan for His children gives me hope when the future looks dim. I am grateful for God's Plan and for his Son and the Atonement. We are never alone. There is a plan, and every obstacle will be molded into a blessing if we turn to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by giving service and making an effort to become a better person every day. I enjoy attending church on sundays where I can play piano for the congregation. I also live my faith by going to the temple. It is in the temple that I can feel peace and comfort even though my life is, at times, anything but that outside of its walls. I live my faith by telling others about what makes me happy, which is the gospel of Jesus Christ. I was a full-time missionary in Japan for a year and a half. I love Japan's people and culture and enjoyed devoting every day to studying the word of God and getting to know my fellow brothers and sisters.
