Hi I'm Megan

I'm a Colorado registered nurse. I'm a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a nurse currently working in mom-baby while my husband is finishing his undergrad and preparing for law school. We are happily married and have an incredible baby boy. I enjoy hiking in the beautiful Colorado mountains, water sports, and reading. I really like trying new things and doing a little bit of everything.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to be born into the church, but that does not mean that I did not have to discover the truth of it for myself. Most of my family is baptist and my mother is a convert. At first I found strength in her conversion and testimony. I have seen things in my life and felt things that I cannot forget or deny. The Lord truly has a hand in my life and I recognize that I am happiest when I follow the teachings of Christ. I know that my prayers are answered, that my Heavenly Father loves me, that Christ atoned for my sins, and that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I'm trying to be like Jesus. I'm striving to serve others and be loving. I am grateful to have a career in which I share in the excitement and trials that new life brings, and am a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on when things don't go the way they were planned. I am trying to keep the spirit with me and in my home through prayer and scripture study. I am currently serving in my ward in the primary, which means I get to teach children ages three to eleven about the gospel. I try to be a good example to them and to my family. The children always amaze me with their faith and trust in Christ. I'm trying to live like them too.
