Hi I'm Ryen Seaman

I was born in California. My family, faith, friends and music are a huge part of my life. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

My family is the most important. I am one of eight kids. I love having a big family because there is never a dull moment. We spend a lot of time together and they have been my biggest support through out my life. I was born in California, but later moved and have lived in Maryland most of my life. My faith and religion play a large role in my life. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, my entire life. I love being a member and sharing what I know with others. I love being able to spend time with my friends and have fun. I enjoy listening to music, going to concerts, watching and playing soccer, being in the outdoors, running, and just laughing and having a good time. Basically, anything that gets my adrenaline going and is spontaneous. Music is a huge part of my life as well. Most of my Friday and Saturday nights of High School were spent going to concerts. I love being able to have fun and meet other people that have the same interests as me, or people who are the complete opposite. I love meeting people from all around the world and learning about their cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but most of my friends did not. Throughout my teenage years I realized that I could have taken the same paths others had taken. I know that because I have had the gospel teachings in my life, I have been blessed and have been able to make choices that have led me to be the person I am today. I love our savior and know that he is a real person who has a body and that because of him we can be forgiven of our sins. I am a member because I know that the gospel is true and that I have had a happier life because of it.

How I live my faith

I served as a president over a young women's group. I also taught a children's Sunday school class. I was a peer tutor for children with special needs. I always go out of my way to help people who are down and need a friend. I am currently serving an 18 month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I will be helping others receive and gain the same faith I have for Christ and his restored gospel.
