Hi I'm Steffi

I'm a wanna be anthropologist, I love NASCAR and museums, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've recently returned home from an 18 month mission for the church which has been one of the best choices that I've ever made. Pre and post mission I'm a college student studying anthropology and am also working on getting a museum studies certificate. I have no idea where I'm going after school but I figure I have a little time to figure it all out. Mostly I'm just happy to know who I am and what my purpose is.

Why I am a Mormon

I started to regularly attend church as a teenager. It has given me direction in my life by helping me to understand that I am a daughter of God and that he has placed me on this Earth for a very good reason. Through Christ's church I have found greater strength then I ever thought I could have. It has pulled me through hardship, comforted me in times of sorrow, and reminded me of my blessings in times of joy. I can't imagine ever being somewhere different in my life.

How I live my faith

One way that I have lived my faith was by serving a full time mission for 18 months to help others learn about Christ and His gospel. I've also taught classes on Sunday and done my best to help out in the church whenever I can. I do my best to be an example for my family. I'm definitely not perfect at it but I try my best each day and rely on Christ when I don't quite make it.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Steffi
One of the blessings that come from reading the scriptures is that is helps us to grow closer in our relationship to God. If you never learn anything about someone are you going to be very close to them? For me the answer is no. The scriptures give us a chance to get to know who God is. We can learn about His love and His plan for us, why we're here and where we are going. As you take time to truly study the Bible and Book of Mormon you will feel the Holy Ghost bear witness that these things are true. Your faith will grow. I know that because that is what mine has done. Show more Show less
