Hi I'm Sam Reed

I'm a programmer, a hardware innovator, a writer, an avid biker, and i'm a mormon.

About Me

Born in Spokane Washington, I first gained my interest in flight; and all things flying, during the free airshows at Fairchild airbase, and other air fields. Watching some of the best; like the thunder birds and other aerobatic artists really gave me the love I have for it today. I'm on my mission now, in Mesa, Arizona, serving with some of the best people I've ever known; doing the best work I know how to do. before this I was a programmer, programming in python, and writing a story off and on, -trying to finish those projects before I left. -well I didn't finish them, -I didn't have time. but I wouldn't have stayed home for the world. feeling the way I did when I served with the missionaries back home was the main driving force behind my desire to serve further... and now I couldn't be happier with my life the way it is now. When I get home, I will be furthering my programming, writing, and going to BYU for Aerospace engineering, and quite possibly Computer science.

Why I am a Mormon

Ok, i'll admit it... I was born into the church. but let me say that it has nothing to do with my conviction today. Whether born in to, or converted to this, we all find our personal witness. mine came over time, on my own time. -and looking back, I don't think I would have had it any other way. -the Lord gives us everything expedient to our needs, according to our own, personal needs. which is why all our testimonies are as unique as they are.

How I live my faith

back home, I helped out a family by stopping by once a month, teaching them, or just helping them with what ever they needed when ever they needed it. -this was called home-teaching. before that, in a previous ward, I participated in scouts and helped out the youth group there. now, I work as a missionary serving the lord where he has placed me to do the most good.
