Hi I'm Greg

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of two boys and two girls. I have been married to a wonderful woman for 17 years. I was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho and love living here. I work in the finance industry at a small, local credit union in Idaho Falls.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all of my life. My parents taugh me principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ from a young age. Even though I was exposed to the LDS faith from a young age, I still came to a point in my teenage years that I needed to know for my self if the Church was true. The assurance came to my heart and mind as I tried to live the principles I had been taught. I realized that what I had been taught was good and made me feel happy. I could feel the love of my Savior and a love for my Savior which is still with me today.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve my family and others over the years. One of my favorite things to do is to teach others about Jesus Christ. I always learn more during my preparation and teaching than those I teach. Currently, I have the opportunity to serve as the bishop of our local congregation. I am so impressed with the faith of others as they stive to do what is right. I visit regularly with members who are struggling with different trials. As I counsel with them, it is very easy to see the direct correlation between their obedience to the teachings of Jesus Christ and their ability to handle the trials they are experiencing. I want to live the principles and commandments of the Gospel so that I can be with my family forever. My family is very important to me and I couldn't imagine being without them. It is through the Gospel of Jesus Christ that I can be with them forever.
