Hi I'm Valerie

I live in Quebec. I am a buyer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from France. My husband has the dream to live in Canada and we have moved to Montreal suburb. I love to sing, read and do cross-stitch. I like to eat food from different countries and I begin to enjoy cooking. I have recently decided to do sport (after almost 20 years of inactivity!) and I enjoy practicing Aikido. I have a mechanical engineer degree and industrial purchasing advanced degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I have met sister missionaries when I was studying. I was so happy to learn about his plan of hapyness and to know that familly can be eternal. I read the Book of Mormon and it was so exciting to read this new testimony of Jesus Christ. It takes me 7 years before I decide to be baptised. I had so many changes to do in my life that I was afraid to do so. But I have to walk by faith, helped by members, missionaries and my Savior. I know that this will be a better life and that I will find hapiness in the Gospec of Jesus-Christ. Today, I am member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since 15 years. It is not easy every day but this is the best choice I have done in my life.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve in the Yound Women organisation of my Ward as Secretary. I enjoy to teach and to be taught by these young women. They are great exemple : they pray, read and study their scriptures every day and try to be good exemple for their friends. As they do, I work on my Personal Progress programm to strengthen my testimony to important virtues : Faith, Divine Nature, Personal Worth, Knowledge, Choice and Accountability, Good Works, Integrity and Virtue. I set goals and work hard to achieve them. I want to be a better person and bring joy and peace around me. I want to help people, letting them know that our Father in Heaven loves them.
