Hi I'm Sandra

I'm a Mormon. I am a native Californian. I am the mother of ten children and 25 grand-children.

About Me

I am so grateful to be doing what I have always desired. I am the mother of ten children, and 25 grand-children. I now have the honor of teaching seminary, a religious class for high school students, at 6 a.m. every day before school. I feel that my life has led me to be a builder and a reminder of who we are, and whose we have been for eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to a wonderful family and heritage. I remember from my youth that my greatest desire was to do and be exactly what our Father in Heaven wanted me to be. I love my Savior and elder brother Jesus Christ, and I knew I wanted to be just like Him.  As a young girl this righteous desire brought me great happiness and peace. As I continued on this path of choosing righteouseness I have been strengthened in my knowledge that this is our Father in Heaven's plan for all of His sons and daughters. I know that His desire is for you and I to return to Him and become like Him. This has always been His goal for His children. How amazing it is to know the plan of our Father in Heaven, His desires, and His perfect love for you and for me. What an honor it is to know that our elder brother and Savior, Jesus Christ, made our way back home possible, through His willing and loving atonement. I choose to spend each new day that I am lovingly offered seeking to be better, seeking to be more like them. This is the way, the only way, for our family to be together forever.

How I live my faith

I live each new day seeking to be a little better, a little more like our Savior, and elder brother, Jesus Christ. I live each day praying that I will be worthy to know our Father in Heaven's will and have the strength of faith to fulfill His will. When Jesus Christ was on the earth His only desire was to do the will of His Father. I remember discovering this truth at a young age, and felt that I had discovered the key to my turn on the earth. If our Savior's only desire was to fulfill the will of our Father, then I would also make that my only desire, while it would be my turn in mortality. I feel honored to have discovered this clue for our mortality, and spend my days desiring and seeking our Father in Heaven's will. I have come to know that when I spend my days seeking to do what I want to do, I settle for less. On the days that I seek to know and fulfill the will of our Father, I rise, I am more, and I become more the daughter He intends for me to become. I spend my days being a reminder and a builder. As a young mother I knew the honor of being a mother, and decided that I would be the reminder and builder of who our children truly are and whose they have been for eternity. From the crib it has been my joy to remind our children of their noblility and righteousness long before coming here to the earth for their mortal preparation to return Home. I now have the honor of being the reminder and builder in the kingdom as I serve and teach high school students each moring before school at 6 a.m. I also serve in one of our temples.
