Hi I'm Adam Ainge

I am a Chemical Engineering Student at BYU. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a college student. My wife and I both attend classes and work a lot. We just moved to a new state for an internship hoping that it not only help me get a job when I graduate but relieve some of the pressure to work full-time while in school. We love to travel. We have been able to see a lot of great places in the United States. I love music. Playing, singing, and listening. I also like to play sports. Basketball is my favorite but I like football, tennis, and pretty much anything that gets me active. My wife and I love to work out together. We also love to spend time with friends and family. We have some amazing people in our lives and our lucky enough to spend time with them pretty often. Playing games, watching moves, hiking, camping, and playing music are all things I love to do with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of families. As I grew up, I started attending my local LDS congregation because of some experiences I had watching families change for the worse. Going to church, I learned about how to strengthen my family and become a better son, sibling, husband, and father. Through the teachings of Jesus Christ I learned the vital role I play his plan and what that meant to my future family. I realized, it is not good enough just to be a good person. There are too many things out there fighting to destroy our families and through the Gospel of Jesus Christ we learn how to combat them. I am a Mormon because I know that for me to be the husband that my wife deserves, I need help from my Heavenly Father. Being a Mormon helps me become more like Jesus and changes the way I see other people.

How I live my faith

We are new to the area. When we got here we were asked to teach the 6-7 year olds. This has been such an exciting assignment. We have 8 kids that attend our class regularly. They are some of the most insightful kids I have ever met. We learn from them every week and they tell us about their experiences at school and home. They make it seem easy to follow Jesus Christ in everything we do. Right now in our lives, we are moving frequently. It is a blessing to attend church in each area we visit. We make new friends and learn more about Jesus Christ. It is like we have family everywhere we go. It can be so much fun to get involved with the different activities and organizations of each ward. Meeting new people, and forming friendships is one of my favorite parts about moving to new places.
