Hi I'm Adam

I love the outdoors of the Rockies and jamming with other musicians. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 20 years old, the big brother of four. In high school I was involved with our stage tech crew, and swam eventually ending up with our water polo club as a driver. In my off time I enjoy mixing music and playing guitar and piano. I spend hours on the mountains behind my place either dirt biking our fire break roads or simply hiking with my camera. I consider myself a well rounded artist, musician, and adventurer.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the faith, but like most mormons had to choose for myself when other influences started pulling me away from what I had been taught to believe. When I was 14 years old circumstances backed me into a corner and I got on my knees and asked for the truth. I came to know that everything I had been taught was not only true but very real as well. I have never looked back since and absolutely love being who I am and knowing that God is a very real and personal Father. Healing for me was only possible through something greater than what I was. The catalyst for that healing was a loving Savior and His way and teachings. Now that I've left home and a supportive environment some days its even more difficult to actively live what I know to be true, but I know from personal experience that following God's plan as revealed through His prophets is the only way to be truly happy and safe. I look forward to all the blessings yet in store for me as I become more like my Savior and feel His power changing my own life.

How I live my faith

Besides living up to the unique and sometimes different standards that mormons live by - avoiding coffee, tea, drugs, and certain entertainment and other lifestyles - I was able to help lead young men's groups and was involved in the church's scouting units or troops. My father and I often visited other mormons in our area to listen to and discuss gospel principles. Now I am abroad sharing what I know to be true with others who have not yet found all the joy that I've been blessed with.
