Hi I'm Jacqualine

I live in Idaho. I play basketball and volleyball, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

My name is Jacqualine, I am 16 and I am the oldest of 5. I have two sisters, 13 and 7, and two brothers, 10 and 3. I played freshman volleyball and basketball for Coeur d' Alene High School. I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends. I love cooking and being crafty whether it is sewing or crocheting. My favorite color is oranges, browns, and dark red. I love to slolemn water ski up at our lake cabin. My favorite subject is language arts and I love attending seminary right across the street from my school. I hope to go to BYU someday and want to study nursing.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a mormon all my life. I love this gospel! I firmly belive that it is true. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, died for each one of us so we could live again with Him someday. I know through the Atonement we can be forgiven of our sins and live a happier life. We are all children of God and I am so grateful to have a Father in Heaven who loves and watches over me. I know prayer works and I have seen many examples of it in my life. One example is my brother. My ten-year-old brother has a brain tumor and through much prayer and fasting he is still here today. Also, I know the preistood is a powerful gift obatined by righteous men to give blessings by laying their hands on your head and giving you strength to live a fulfilled life. I firmly belive that modesty is the best quality and that I can stay spiritually clean if I am dressed in appropriate ways.Honesty is the best policy and I try to live it in my everyday life, and I know I can obain blessings from being honest. I am grateful for the opportunity I have to go to Seminary everyday during school to learn about the New Testament, Old Testament, Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants. I love this gospel and my family and I are blessed to be a part of it. I know the Book of Mormon is true and and that it truely is another testament of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by setting an example to those around me at school and home. I strive to live with faith, integrity, virtue, and live up to my "divine role." I love to help others and brightening someone else's day makes my day that much better.
