Hi I'm Jenny

I love music, play the flute, ride my bicycle in the Georgia hills, and see movies and eat lunch with friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have been married for 25 years and have three sons, two of which are adults and living away from home. Around 10 years ago, my husband quit working at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and we bought an apartment complex for income. Since that time we have bought and sold apartments and currently own two complexes north of Atlanta GA. I love riding my bicycle with my family and friends on the quiet roads of North Georgia. I play the flute in church occasionally and love listening to pop, adult contemporary, and alternative music. I go to concerts with friends and sometimes my youngest son. Coldplay, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, and OneRepublic are my favorites. I love shopping for clothes and shoes, but my small closet-size prevents me from going too wild. At night I like to cozy up to a good book---sci-fi or medical thriller. I graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors in Geography and a minor in mathematics.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and continue my faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it has taught me the reason I am here. Without the knowledge of why Heaven Father put me here, I would make radically different choices than what I have made. My life on earth is a test to see if I will do the things that He has commanded, and I don't want to disappoint Him. As a Latter-day Saint, I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that his life is a guide for me. The Bible and Book of Mormon are also a guide and are given to us to help us know the things we should do.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. In church I teach lessons and help organize meetings for the women that help us be self-reliant, loving servants to Heavenly Father and awesome women, wives, and mothers. I take meals to families who are sick, have a new baby, etc. I pray and read the scriptures with my family each night. I live a healthy lifestyle so that I will be able to help others as long as I can. I stay away from bad media as much as possible because I find that I am not as happy when surrounded by things that keep the Spirit of God away from me.
