Hi I'm Nicole

I'm a college instructor, a mom, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the proud mother to one toddler. Having him has helped me see my purpose on Earth so clearly. I love to cook just about anything! I love to eat but eating out wasn't too friendly on my wallet, so I started experimenting. Now my family gets to test all my experiments! I also love to teach and have had the privilege to teach American Sign Language at the local college for the last few years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church but there came a time in my life that I had to decide for myself. I was living away from home for the summer before my senior year of high school. I was in a place where there were very few members of the church. I had a hard time going to church by myself. Amid a lot of turmoil in my life, I prayed for confirmation that the gospel was true. Ever since that time, I have known that the gospel is true. It is my rock. I have had many trials since then and through them all, I have received comfort from my Heavenly Father that he has a plan and that he loves me. I am so grateful to know that my family is sealed for eternity and that I will be with all my children forever.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith not only on Sunday, but every day of my life. We talk about the gospel often in our home and always try to have the spirit in our home. I also serve in children's organization in the church called Primary. I teach the children ages 3-11 on Sundays. Teaching our Heavenly Father's children has helped me gain a greater appreciation for the scripture in Matthew 18:4 "Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Of course, I also serve by feeding the missionaries on a regular basis.
