Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a wife to one great husband. I'm a mom to the greatest kids ever! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a mother. After having my oldest son at the age of 22 I was never able to conceive again. It took 15 years, 2 divorces, 1 temple marriage, 7 years of church activity and countless prayers before I would be blessed again with a child. My journey, though difficult and faith testing, is one that I would not change for anything. My husband and I were blessed to be chosen to adopt twin boys. Yes! We won the lotteries of adoption! Then a mere 14 months later were chosen again to adopt a little girl. Our family now complete, I can see the hand of the Lord in my life. Now I can look back and know why I was never able to conceive a child. Heavenly Father knew I had 3 children waiting for their time. When I'm not busy with all that 5 year old twins and a 4 year old need....I love to read, sew, craft, run, scrapbook & create most anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the church, but in my early 20's fell away from activity and the church. I spent the next 10 years struggling with life. A bad marriage, word of wisdom issues, on the road to nowhere. When my son was 5 I finally decided it was time to do something different. I knew in my heart what was right, and if for no other reason then wanting my son to be raised in the church. I moved back home with my parents, got a divorce and started to begin building my life back. It was then that I met my now husband, who was also just getting reactivated in the church. He was a big help to me in returning to full activity. Although, I struggled for a couple more years with the word of wisdom issues I had. I was finally able to come back to the gospel completely and fully and have never strayed since that time. I know from my own experience that living the gospel is much easier then it is living without the gospel. Even though I still face struggles, disappointments, and all the things that life throws at us, I would never go back to what those 10 years of inactivity was like. I am grateful for the gospel and all it brings into my life.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to work with the younger kids within our church. Teaching them lessons on Christ and the scriptures. I really enjoy it and love to prepare my lessons because I am able to learn so much.
