Hi I'm Alex

I grew up in Centennial, Colorado. I am a missionary serving for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to write, draw, listen to music, hang out with my friends. I like to watch TV and movies. I went to college for a year before going on my mission. I was called to Fortaleza, Brazil. I don't have my visa yet, so I'm at the MTC in Provo. I hope to be there eventually. I get homesick a lot and depending on how bad it is, I kind of cry. But I know that I am where I should be and the Lord will bless me and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. Both of my parents were members. I continue to follow the gospel because I know it's the right thing. I believe the church and the Book of Mormon to be true and to me, they are marks of my family history. I also hope to serve a mission for the church and keep spreading the gospel.

How I live my faith

I participate in creating youth activities for my ward. My father and I hometeach two families once a month. When I was seventeen, I created my Eagle project. I made two hundred placemats for the Children's Hospital. Some of them were printed off of the Internet, others were hand-drawn by some of my participants. And right now, I am serving a mission for the Church in Fortaleza, Brazil, so I'll be off the grid for 2 years.
