Hi I'm Brian White

I am from Georgia. I was the Band Captain and later staff for my HS marching band. Now I am a missionary and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born In Las Vegas Nevada and moved to Georgia when I was almost two. I lived there with my family for the past seventeen and a half years.I graduated from high school in 2014. I was always deeply involved in the band programs, playing multiple instruments in different ensembles. I was hired to work for the Marching band after graduation, and after working there this fall I left to serve a two year mission in Tempe Arizona!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and both of my parents have strong testimony's of the gospel. I grew up and learned largely from their examples and gained my own personal testimony. I had a time when I was younger that my Family was unable to go to church. I didn't notice when i stopped going because there was so many horrible things going on in my life, but when we were able to go back again, I could feel the joy that the gospel brings. being able to go every Sunday and to feel the support of the other members multiple times a week really, helped me to feel the love of God in my life.

How I live my faith

I live by being an example to those around me. Everyone I know knows I am a Mormon. I am often asked questions about our faith and I enjoy answering them! I have learned through many different experiences of the power of personal scripture study. It is my favorite way to learn. Sitting down with my scriptures in a quiet environment, I always learn something new and wonderful.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Brian White
We are taught to go out of our way to help others, and we frequently give service for our weekly night activities. A few months ago we had a tornado go through our area and over the next few weeks, the young men and yound women (youth ages 12-18) cancelled our "fun" wednesday activities to go clean up the damage, and everywhere I went, the houses did not belong to members of our church.
