Hi I'm Andrea

I'm a wife. I'm a daughter and sister. I'm an Arizona native. I'm an avid reader. I'm a Cosmetologist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the same city my mom did and I still live there. I love my family more than anything and I'm so lucky to have 3 wonderful brothers and a sister. I am married to a wonderful man who also has a great family. With our wedding, I added another 3 brothers and 3 sisters! I went to college for a few years and couldn't decide what I really wanted to be. I finally realized that I wanted to be a stay at home mom (eventually), but still have the option to help bring in some money or be able to support myself if something should happen to my husband. Now I am a licensed cosmetologist and I love my job. Making other people feel beautiful makes me beyond happy. I grew up playing the piano and violin and my husband is also musical (guitar, harmonica, and piano). I love our home, because music fills it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My parents both are members from birth. The reason why I'M a Mormon is because I know its true. I watched so many of my friends take the path more traveled...and I watched how hard and sad their lives sometimes were. By following Christ's example and following His teachings, my life has been good. Not without hardships or heartbreaks by far, but I am always deeply happy and grateful. And that peace and happiness comes from Christ and knowing and feeling His love for me.

How I live my faith

I have had lots of wonderful and fun callings in the church. From teaching in the women's class once a month to being a teacher for the Marriage and Family Relations class in my singles ward. For the last 3 years, I have been directly involved with the kids in age range from 3-12. Teaching first the Sunbeams (3 and 4 year olds), and then the 10-11 year olds. What a joy children are! And what a joy to be the person helping them understand the Gospel Principles! I now am directly involved in planning our quarterly Women's Nights. Working closely with fellow sisters in this gospel is fantastic and uplifting!! I try my best to reach out to those I don't know, or who I recognize, but don't know well. The best part about this church is that we are a family. We all love and want the best for one another. And we know that we have people to help support us when we need it...or even when we don't realize we need it.
