Hi I'm Timothy Hillian

I live in South Carolina. I'm a father of three sons (2-Eagle Scouts), Scout leader, and a veteran. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I have been a Boy Scout leader for 15 years and I absolutely love helping the boys acquire those critical life skills need to be very successful. Our troop has produced 5 Eagle Scouts this past year.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always had questions about "The Plan of Salvation" that no one could ever answer. Until one day, the missionaries knocked on my door and asked if they could share a message about our Savior Jesus Christ. I invited them back and my questions were fully answered. I also asked "Why are we required to attend church on Sunday?" to which they responded "To partake of the Sacrament". That was just the beginning of my many questions over the next several weeks as I continued with my lessons. Fast forward to the present....I have been a member for two years at this point, and I have yet to ask a question the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints did not answer in great detail. If you seek the truth, then I ask you to contact the missionaries for an appointment.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others through Scouting. Where I come from "Faith" is an action word.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?
