Hi I'm Dallin

I am a college student, a wrestler, a big brother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Colorado. Ever since I was little, I have loved sports. I played soccer, basketball, baseball, I ran, I skied, I snowboarded, and recently I have picked up longboarding. However, my favorite sport has been wrestling. Ever since I started, I have loved it. It has been called a physical chess match. The best part of wrestling is that it is just you against one other person. If you lose, there is no one to blame but yourself. But when you win, you can know that you did it by your own preparation and effort. This really helped me feel responsible for my success' and my failures. My coach always used to say, "The will to win is not as important as the will to prepare to win." This principle has helped me grow from a boy to a young man. This principle taught in wrestling, helped me see that what we put into this life is what we are going to get out of it. If we want a better future, we can't just hope and wish for it. If we want a better life, we must prepare and take steps toward that goal.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this Gospel has given me direction in my life. I am a Mormon because I know that God has a plan for me. That plan is for me to be happy. His plan is for me to be successful in this life. His plan is for me to be with my family forever. I am a Mormon because I know that this is the church of Christ. I know that through the Book of Mormon and this Gospel we can come unto Christ. I am a Mormon because I know this is the true church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the Book of Mormon everyday. I live my faith by serving a mission for my church to invite others to feel the joy and peace that I feel as a member.
