Hi I'm Drew

I heart skiing, I heart lamp, and i'm a mormon.

About Me

Ahoy. I'm 21 years old and serving a mission for my church right now. Before my mission I was a ski bum/ river rat. After my mission I plan on working for a stock trading company, then being a ski bum/ river rat on the weekends. I love Jesus. We are tight.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member because it makes me happy. Good things always happen when you make the right choices. My whole life I've tried to make the right choices and it's made me really happy. I don't think that there's anything cool about doing dumb things and having to feel feelings of guilt and shame all the time, so I just like living the gospel. Sometimes I make mistakes or I face trials, but I always know that God is by my side and this life is only a short schooling ground to prepare me for an even better life.

How I live my faith

I'm serving a mission right now and doin my best to help other people find more happiness. If you want to serve a mission and are worthy, you get to go some random place in the world and teach everyone you can about Jesus Christ for 2 years. Right now i'm in Canada. During the winter it's ridiculously cold. It's nutz, but I still go out and teach everyone I can because I know the importance of families and I want people to have good relationships in their families that can continue even after this life. yeahhh....

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

Drew
Jesus taught that we can't enter the kingdom of God without baptism. We believe that since baptism is such a sacred ceremony, it has to be done the correct way. Each time that God has brought His true gospel to the earth He has also brought the priesthood, which is the authority to perform things such as baptism. I know that the authority to perform baptism was lost after the death of Jesus' disciples, then brought back to the earth by heavenly messengers, and exists today in Jesus Christ's church.
