Hi I'm Jaden

I'm the Oldest of many Brothers and Sisters, I'm a Gamer,I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Payson Utah and I am what most would label as a big Nerd. And I don't care! I love being a Nerd haha. I love anything from Harry Potter to Lord of the Rings, Final Fantasy to World of Warcraft, Smash Bro's to Call of Duty, Nickelodean to Who's Line is it Anyway, Celtic Woman to Linkin Park... The List goes on! I like more than just that though. I also love hanging out and being stupid with Friends, watching and talking about UFC with them (they take MMA classes, I'm not man enough) and also going up to the mountains weekly just to chat around a fire roasting brauts! I have also had many different job's in my life, Fast food, call centers (dialer and supervisor positions), I worked selling appliances on commission at sears and I also worked at Gamecrazy. Now of course my job is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the West Virginia, Charleston mission. This work is more important than anything I have previously done, and serving The Lord is more important than anything this world has to offer. The Gospel is awesome!

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I was born into the Church and baptized at 8 and feel like I have always had a testimony of this Church. I don't think I have ever doubted this Church at all. I am grateful that the Lord has allowed me to be raised with the Gospel in my life and given me a testimony of the Truth. With that being said however, I certainly have had to go through trials and refiners fires to strengthen my testimony even more. My parents were divorced when I was 15 years old and anybody who has had divorced parents can probably relate to that pretty well. Because of family struggles that came as a result of that, I ended up kind of raising myself from that point on. My little brothers went to live with my dad and I decided to stay with my mom. I was blessed with the ability to see my dad whenever I wanted to because he only lived like 45 minutes away. My mom who I lived with however was going through a major depression in her life and was gone most of the time working. I don't think my situation in life is nearly as bad as many people but I had to learn to rely on the Lord to pull me through many things that came from that. Unfortunatly I went less active for quite a while and as a result missed out on many spiritual blessings I could have had. I did however, start reading the Scriptures on my own and that gave me enough light to deal with much of what I was going through. I also had very good friends who helped me through a lot of my problems and they never looked down on me even though I wasn't active in the Church. They were a great support to me and I feel like the Lord was working through them to help me out. Chances are they don't even realize the positive influence they have had on me. That's a testimony to me that The Lord truly works through Small and Simple things to bring to pass his great and eternal purposes. I became active in the Church again and love everything about it! I am so happy that the Christ now has me as a missionary for his true Church.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith right now by serving as a missionary in Jesus Christ's only true Church. I also read the Book of Mormon everyday and know that it can turn a bad day into a great one. I try to be a good influence on my family and friends and hope to set a good example for my little brothers so that they will one day serve missions also.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

No the Church does not get involved in political parties or candidates, but encourages it's members to be politically active. The only political things the Church will get directly involved in are Moral issues such as abortion and homosexual activity. We believe in keeping the commandments of God and will always strive for a government that will also keep the commandments of God. It is important to vote for those you feel will lead the country closer to what God would have this country be. It is important that you find out as much about each candidate running for office as possible and to study what they would like to do, and then pray and fast about that person to see if you should give your vote to them. Republican, Democrat or other, Make sure to involve God in your Political decisions. Show more Show less
