Hi I'm Michael

I grew up in Wisconsin. I enjoy playing the saxophone. I am a true blue Aggie. I am a database administrator. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love information and organization, probably I got a master's degree in information management. But oddly enough when I come home from work or on the weekends, the last thing I want to do is be on the computer. I love working on cars and enjoying the outdoors. I'm working on restoring a 1953 Jeep. I am an Eagle Scout and still enjoy go camping and hiking. I guess being surrounded by technology (which does excite me) at work, when I get the opportunity I like the challenge of getting back to basics in the outdoors and see what I and my pocket knife can do.

Why I am a Mormon

I need the truth in my life. The gospel of Jesus Christ contains that truth. I've studied what other men have come up with as a religion and there was always something that stood out as untruthful. Authority has always been important determinant in my life. Without the proper authority whatever it is, is meaningless. I don't doubt that the leaders of other religions are good, well meaning individuals, but when I was searching for the truth that I need in my life, I always came back to authority. I have found that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has that authority. I know that Jesus Christ heads this Church. And when the day comes, I want it to be said that I was counted among his faithful followers.

How I live my faith

As I've gone through life I have had several individuals that have had a great impact on my life. Years later I now feel as if I can give to others the mentoring that I have had. I have been involved in my local Boy Scout troop. Passing down those lessons and moral values that I have received to the youth in my area because I believe if there is any hope for the world to be a better place, it's going to be because we teach today's youth to be better.
