Hi I'm Richard Lindahl

I'm a Taiwan Taipei Missionary, I'm a patron of the arts, I'm a trumpet player, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a missionary for the LDS church. I have two older sisters and one younger brother. I have been blessed with an amazing family! I wouldn't be who I am today without the loving guidance of my parents. I am a musician and have played trumpet in the jazz band for most years in the public school system. One of my greatest accomplishments was making second chair in the Colorado All-state Jazz Band. I believe music is a personal way to testify of the goodness of God! I am an Eagle Scout, seminary graduate, and completed my Duty to God in high school. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Taiwan Taipei Mission. I love the people of Taiwan! I have a strong testimony of the prophet Joseph Smith and the Restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the latter-days.

Why I am a Mormon

Like all Christian religions, I find peace and joy in worshipping my Savior Jesus Christ as well as my Father in Heaven. Like any faith, a true conversion comes from personal experience and revelation from the Holy Ghost. Through my personal study and prayers, I have come to a unshakable knowledge that Jesus is the Christ, that Joseph Smith restored the fullness of His gospel, and that the Book of Mormon is truly the word of God and another Testament of Jesus Christ. Our Savior made it possible for us to overcome spiritual and physical death so that we may return to and live with our Father in Heaven again. Jesus Christ lives and loves each and every person on earth and I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the complete truth on earth today.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving a mission for the LDS church. I pray and study the Book of Mormon every day to deepen my testimony of the truthfulness of the restored gospel. Although things can get tough, it is important to rely on the Savior for strength and listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost to guide us throughout our lives. One way we can feel the love of our Savior and the love of our Father in Heaven Is provide service to our earthly brothers and sisters. I I try to stay open minded and this helps me to receive the revelation that I seek from my Father in Heaven. Being a missionary is a sacred calling and as I bear the name of Jesus Christ at all times, I am constantly reminded of His goodness and mercy, and that His hand is throughout all our lives.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Richard Lindahl
The love and structure of the family is the basic unit of the church, as well as all of mankind. All things start from the family- in the home is where you learn, grow, and establish life long habits that determine choices that you will make for the rest of your life. The home is one of the most sacred places on earth and the family within it is meant to provide strength, love, and help through every phase of life. Families are forever and will live together for all eternity. Show more Show less
