Hi I'm Justin

I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm a software developer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to an incredible woman and we have 2 children that bless our lives daily. I graduated college from Weber State University with a B.S. degree in computer science. I am currently a software developer for an insurance company. I enjoy going on hikes in the mountains, working out, and keeping up with trends in software development.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family. Through most of my youth, I simply followed what I was taught. Eventually I realized that other people strongly felt that they followed other religions and philosophies because they believed them to be true. This caused me to spend more time studying my religion and whether I really believed it. Throughout my life, I have been blessed with several moments when the Lord has answered my prayers and helped me learn to become more like Him and be more understanding and loving towards others. This constant process of needing help, trying to figure things out, then receiving guidance from my Lord has helped me more than I could have ever expected. I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, lives. I know He loves me and everyone. We all have tremendous potential to become like Him. I know I can only become like Him with His help. I have felt His loving embrace as He has confirmed these truths to me. The Atonement He has made for me and for everyone gives me a joy and happiness that I want to share with everyone.

How I live my faith

I have a few families in my neighborhood that I am in charge of visiting with and helping them with whatever they may need. I enjoy getting to know them. I have also been given a calling to help watch over the group of men in my area within what we call the "elders". These men have been given authority to act in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. I get to work with them as we all do our best to act as disciples of Christ.
