Hi I'm Sarah!

I am from Kansas. I'm a sister, daughter, teacher and friend. I love to read, laugh and spend time with my friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read, knit, occasionally watch "The Price is Right", ride horses and spend time with friends. I am a college graduate with a degree in education and I currently teach high school. I come from a great family who I love to spend time with. We love to sit around, chat, laugh and eat cookies! I love to spend time with family and friends and serve others and make silly faces and LAUGH!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life. It is the best part about my life! I was raised by faithful parents who have always been a great example to me. Being a member of the Church has blessed me in ways that I don't even realize. I have never felt truly alone-I am blessed with the gift if the Holy Ghost and seek daily to live worthily of that gift. The example of the Savior is tremendous and following it is important to me. I am happier when I am following the teachings of Jesus Christ. It is through the blessings of the priesthood that families can be sealed for time and eternity in the temple. Priesthood power is real and is a blessing in my life and the lives of people all over the world. I am blessed to be part of a family that has made the temple a priority. I feel better about my life when I attend the temple; It brings me peace and clarity. I always know that if I need something, whether it be peace or help with a decision, I can say a prayer. The scriptures are the word of God.The Book of Mormon was translated by the power of God by Joseph Smith. Brother Joseph restored the gospel of Jesus Christ in the latter days. He truly was a prophet of God and led and guided the church by the spirit. The faith of the early saints is remarkable. What they were willing to go through for their faith is truly an example to me. In short, my life wouldn't be what it is without the Church! It has guided me through every aspect of my life. I am blessed to be a member!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday and participating in activities and service projects with my congregation. I fulfill assignments given to me by my leaders. I try to visit sisters in my congregation each month to share the good news of the gospel with them and to get to know them better. I read my scriptures and pray daily. I strive to be kind to those around me and to live my life by following the promptings of the spirit. I go to the temple as regularly as I can to draw closer to my Savior. I try my best to be a good person and LIVE my faith!
