Hi I'm Robin

I'm a wife and mother to 3 boys. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a wife and mother to three boys who keep me very busy. My youngest is only 11 months old and was born with a heart defect which lead to him having a heart tranplant at 8 weeks old. He came home when he was 3 1/2 months old and has been thriving ever since. My other two boys are 13 and 6. They are great boys and I love seeing them learn new things and grow every day. I love to cook for my family and make goodies for friends and neighbors. I love reading. My favorite thing to do is take my kiddos to the park and watch them play while I hang out wih friends.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 11 years old my grandmother passed away. I was very sad by this and confused. I went looking for answers. I wanted to know why she was taken from me when she was so young, only in her 60's. I wanted to know where she went and if I would ever see her again. My neighbors at the time were Mormon. They had 7 children! Of course there was one my age. She invited me to her church. There I learned about the plan of salvation and what happens when someone dies. I learned that I could see my grandmother again and families can be together forever. Today I am blessed to be sealed to my husband and children and am comforted knowing I will see my grandmother, father, and all other members of my family in heaven.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in my church. I have served in many areas and my favorite is teaching the children. I feel like I learn so much (maybe more than the children) during a lesson. I also love to serve the sisters in my church. Every month I get to visit 3 sisters and bring them a message about the gospel. This helps me to reflect on my own life and apply the principles I've learned. Plus I've made many everlasting friendships.
