Hi I'm John

I like to sing songs, boogie down, share the gospel of Jesus Christ and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I really enjoy being happy so I do things to make that happen. I find I'm happiest when I'm helping, serving and entertaining others in diverse capacities. Currently I'm serving a two year full-time mission which makes me very happy because I'm sharing what makes me happiest 24/7. Before serving my mission I enjoyed ballroom dance, playing the guitar, singing, being a goof ball and yes, long walks on the beach. I'm the youngest of five and love my family so much. They bring so much joy into my life and I can't thank them enough for all of the support I've received simply out of pure, unadulterated love. Serving a full-time mission means having highly limited contact with my family for two whole years and I've grown to appreciate them a lot more. I've come to realize that after all is said and done, time with my family (including my future family) is what's going to really make me happiest.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a home with a mother who was, and still is, a practicing member of the gospel and was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There are a few reasons why I remained a member of the church. The primary one would have to be because I know it's true. I've asked God and I know it's true. He told me.

How I live my faith

I feel like the Savior and his teachings were designed to make life better for individuals and families. When I live my faith, I'm happier. It's really that simple. Currently I'm living my faith in a unique way by serving a full-time mission for Jesus Christ in the Canada Edmonton Mission. I am His representative and get to share His message with people everyday I live...how great is that?! When I return to my "regular life", so to speak, I'm going to do what's asked of me by my Heavenly Father. I'm going to magnify my church responsibilities, get married, have a family, support them both physically and spiritually and smile because I will know I'm doing what's been asked of me.
