Hi I'm Phil

I grew up in Florida, North Carolina, and Texas. I have a beautiful wife and 2 kids. I'm a statistician and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went to college in Provo at Brigham Young University where I met my beautiful wife. We have been married since 2005, and we are super happy. We love spending time with each other and with our two kids. I enjoy playing golf, football, and baseball when I'm not at work. Work includes quantitative business analysis, building pricing models, data mining, anything that can help business grow by using numerical data.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for many reasons: I was raised as a Mormon by my parents. They taught me as a child how I should live my life so that I can return to live with them and with my Heavenly Father after this life. I think this way of life makes for a better world. If everybody lived with these principles, there would be less of the negative aspects of life that all of us have to deal with. I like the way I feel when I help others. There is a happiness that comes from making another's burden lighter. I believe that God has called a prophet to guide us in our day. I have received answers to my questioning prayers, and have decided that if I know that the teachings of this church are true, I need to live my life accordingly.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in the Elders Quorum presidency, visiting members of the ward, helping others come to church, helping people move when necessary, teaching lessons, and anything else that is asked.
