Hi I'm Greg.

I was born and raised in Utah and married with 4 wonderful kids. I work in the retirement plan industry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married with 4 wonderful kids. I enjoy playing all types of sports (mainly basketball, soccer and golf, with table tennis squeezed in as well). I am a VP for a benefits outsourcing company and recently completed my MBA program at Brigham Young University (BYU).

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because my Heavenly Father cares enough about me personally to answer my prayers. I still remember when I finished the Book of Mormon as a teenager and knelt down and prayed and how I felt - I knew that the Book of Mormon was true. I was able to serve a mission in Denmark and share the gospel with the Danish people. I loved sharing my testimony with them and still feel a strong connection to Denmark.

How I live my faith

I currently am the 11 year old scout master and I get to teach the 11 year old kids (both boys and girls) on Sundays in Sunday School. I enjoy preparing my lesson each week as I learn about the life of Jesus Christ and how I can better live my life - and then do my best to share what I learn with the often rowdy 11 year olds. My wife and I 'try' to read from the Book of Mormon or Bible with our kids each day, though as they get older, this seems to be a constant battle. To keep their attention each night, we ask them to raise their hand when certain words are spoken (such as "and it came to pass" which is repeated a lot in the scriptures). We have definitely noticed a difference in our day when we are able to sit down as a family and read together.
