Hi I'm Scott

I grew up in Vegas. I am an avid sportsman. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a machinist by occupation and am employed by the US Navy. I enjoy skiing, racquetball, and scuba diving. One of my passions is spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing. I have been happily married to my beautiful wife for 26 years. We have three grown children. We are almost officially empty nesters and enjoy kayaking and hiking together.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my whole life. When I was 18 years old I decided not to go to church anymore. My parents allowed me the freedom to decide for myself. When I went away to college 4 years later I decided to make some changes in my life and go back to church. I knew it was the right thing to do since I felt that there was something missing in the lifestyle I had been living. Since then I've come to learn that this gospel is the recipe for happiness in this life and the life to come. It's not always easy but it has been worth it.

How I live my faith

I serve as a financial clerk in my ward. This includes accounting for the tithing and offerings of members. It also includes budget allocations within the ward.
