Hi I'm Benjamin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a great love for the outdoors. Born and raised near the Grand Teton National Park, I was blessed with the opportunity to make a lifestyle out of enjoying God's creations. I have been blessed to live in many areas of the world including Russia, Nebraska, North Carolina, and currently Colorado. I am a Dr. of Physical Therapy, specializing in human performance through movement. The more I study the mechanics of the human body, the more fascinated I become. I have been married since May 2009, and enjoy having a family unit of my own where I can live what I was taught as a child in my own home.

Why I am a Mormon

People choose to belong to a religion for several reasons, my reasons perhaps aren't that different than yours. Tradition can often be a major influential factor in choosing religion. Indeed, the tradition of comrodery, love, caring, and serving those around us was influential for me. My parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and neighbors, all of whom are excellent examples of true followers of Christ, belong to this church. Naturally, to be a follower of Christ is a tradition that I intend to carry on for to my children. If God were to speak to you, would you listen and obey? Me too. I don't claim to have seen God, or to have profoundly heard his voice. I do however, bodly declare that God has spoken to me every single day of my life, most commonly through his servant the Holy Ghost. These experiences are rarely monumental, rather, subtly and gently I am reaffirmed that God lives and that he loves me. When presented with any question about what I believe in, prayer undoubtedly yeilds an answer. God told me, through the Holy Ghost, that The Book of Mormon is His word. When God spoke that to me, every time he reaffirms my belief, I know that I am in the right place; a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is a daily task. I'm proud to say that I believe every day of the week, not just on Sunday's. A prophet once said that when a man lives by his faith, bad men become good and good men become better. Each day I search for God's hand in my life. It really isn't hard, just look out the window at his beautiful creations. I try to let the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ turn me into a "better man" every day.
