Hi I'm Matthew

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Husband and Father. I have three wonderful children ranging in ages from 3 to 10. I work in Benefits Administration and Outsourcing. Love the outdoors including fly fishing, biking, hiking, and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

Although raised in the church, when I was 18 I was deciding to go on a two year mission. Two years at my own expense and time it better have been something that I believed in. I spent a great deal of time studying the scriptures and praying about the truth of the Gospel. It was then that I received an answer to the truth of the teachings of this church. Since then, my life is full and rich and happy when I live according to those principles.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the LDS Church is more than just attending Sunday Meetings for me and my family. The church is integrated into our every day lives. Monday night home evening (which we are actually doing right now). Mid week youth activities, congregation activities, community service, and just visiting with other members of the church. A church that didn't encompass my life also wouldn't help to fulfill it.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No. Much of what the church does is to help Non-Mormons not only in the communities we live in, but also around the world. Show more Show less
