Hi I'm Rocco

I am a father of four. I love to play sports. I am a chemical engineer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with six brother and sisters. We enjoyed playing all kinds of games together. My favorite sports to play are: wrestling, football, and tennis. I lived in Brazil for two years while serving my mission. I got married at 21 and have four children. I went to the University of Columbia South Carolina where I graduated with a bachelors of science in chemical engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born being a member of this church, and my family has been active through all my years of life. I have always studied and attendad church while growing up. This has let me build a sound foundation in my life. As I approached my Junior and Senior years in High School I tried to really focus on truly gaining my own personal testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I wanted to serve a mission and I knew I needed to truly believe in my gospel if I wanted to tell people it was true. As I focused on my conversion I started to try and look and feel the Lords influence in my life. This greatly helped me to see how much I truly knew and confirm how much the Lord has been with me throughout my life. Once on my mission I got to bare my testimony about the gospel and about certain facets of the gospel. I saw as other people accepted to obey the Lords commandments they where also blessed in their life. I bare my tetimony now that I know that learning about the true priciples taught from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will give you answers to questions that you have been seeking for. I know it will allow the Lord to bless you in your life as you obey the laws and ordinances taught, and most importantly I know that we may unite again with our Heavenly Father as a family after this probationary state on Earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to set the best example to other I can. I want people to know that I am christian by the way I treat people. My current calling in my church allows me to make all the appointments for the Bishop in my ward. I get to write all the agenda's that we follow in our multiple church meetings. I also get to select the individuals that will get to say the prayers during sacrament. I also get to volunteer my services as a tenniss, wrestling, and football coach. This allows me to work with my kids and many other children that need to be helped and uplifted during their growing years.
