Hi I'm Cheri

I'm a wife and mother to 6 amazing kids. I love to play the piano, the flute, and I love to decorate cakes and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother to 6 fabulous kids. My husband and I have been married for 19 years. I have 4 daughters and 2 sons. Both of my boys are type 1 diabetics. I am a stay-at-home mom who runs a home daycare, teaches piano, and decorates cakes/cupcakes for fun! I love playing the piano and the flute. Most of all, I love spending time with my family laughing, dancing, singing, playing games, acting totally silly and thoroughly enjoying life together.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because living the gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy! I grew up in an active Mormon household. I was baptized when I was eight years old, and am an active Mormon still because I choose to be. By following the precepts taught by this church, I am a stronger, happier, and better person. I have seen the wonderful blessings and happiness that come from being a member of this wonderful church. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who knows us each individually. I truly believe in being able to be together as families for eternity. I don't know about you, but I am so in love with my family that I can't imagine eternity without even one of them. Being a Mormon brings so much peace and love into my life. I love that no matter where you are in the world, the church is the same. Simply, I am a Mormon because I know this church is true and it brings me such peace, comfort, and happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live what I believe on a daily basis. I try to be a good example to everyone that I come into contact with, but especially to my family. Daily prayer and scripture study is also very important. I attend church regularly and try to do my best in my callings at church. My calling in church right now is the 2nd counselor in the Young Women's Presidency. I am the leader for the Beehives (12-13 year old girls). I also serve as the Stake Assistant Camp Director. This is a camp for the girls 12-18 years old. I have loved serving these girls. However, my most important responsibility in living my faith is to teach my children about our Heavenly Father's plan for us and about our Savior, Jesus Christ.
