Hi I'm Lucy

I am a wife, a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and I love my family. A lot of my nieces & nephews have lived with me at times.

About Me

I have traveled extensively all over the world and the one thing I have discovered is that we are all God's children. He loves all of us and he wants all of us to come home. Each of us can pray to him directly through Jesus Christ . I know that he hears and will answer our individual prayers. Not always the way we want or when, but in time things always work out. I believe there is a Prophet leading our church today. I believe that there are three separte beings in the Godhead, God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and Holy Ghost. The three make up the Godhead. They are one in purpose but seperate in being. We believe that all people are the spirt children of Our Father in Heaven--and that the Holy Ghost can influence and reveal the truth to all people that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the Son of God. As a Mormon I believe the Bible to be the word of God and I believe that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the same church that was organized when Jesus was here on this earth. I believe that he visited the American Continent and that the Book of Mormon is a history of the people who lived on the continent at that time.

Why I am a Mormon

Family is very important to me because we know that someday we will all be together with our Father in Heaven. I only had one child and he died but I know that he is with his earthly father and his grandparents. I am at peace because, I know this and I know that we will all be together sometime. He left me with two grandchildren and I know that we will all be together again if we keep the commandments God has given us to guide us while we are here on this earth.

How I live my faith

As we live our everyday lives we try to plan for the eternity and not just for the time we spend on this earth. It helps us try harder knowing that we will meet our loved ones and our Heavenly Father again. It is such a blessing and a confort to me to think of being with my son again. Prophets have taught that "when you are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God". Millions of faithful members of the Church serve in a wide variety of unpaid callings or assingnments. In local unities, missions, temples, family history centers, choirs, teachers, and other church programs. We believe we are here to learn right from wrong and to gain a body so we can return to our Father in Heaven. I have always tried to help everyone in any way I can because I know it makes God happy and it makes me happy. My parents were alway very generous of their time and money and always helped where they could and they taught us, "to do unto others as you would have them do unto you." They also taught us to never judge another person because God loves everyone, we are all his children.
