Hi I'm Tamee

I grew up in Utah. I love to play sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of eight children. There is nothing I love more than my family and my numerous nieces and nephews. My siblings are my absolute best friends. I love playing sports and being outside! My favorite sports is softball, which I played in high school as shortstop and pitcher. I am currently attending BYU Provo and my major is Elementary Education. My true hobby is spending time with children. I also thoroughly enjoy watching movies, reading, and literally dancing and singing when nobody is watching. Lately, I have been trying to get out of my comfort zone by trying new things and being more spontaneous. Everything I try to do is directed toward my goal to someday be like my Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life, but I have not always been fully converted. I relied on the faith of my family and siblings for several years, but as I got old enough to seek things out for myself, a strong and firm testimony quickly followed. I am a Mormon because I know it is the only path toward happiness and eternal life with my family. I am Mormon because it is what I want to do.

How I live my faith

In my ward I am a visiting teacher and also a member of the temple committee. As a visiting teacher I have two a companion and once a month we visit two other sisters share a gospel message and usually a treat. As a visiting teacher I am there for the two sisters I serve if they ever need anything. As a member of the temple committee, I help plan devotionals surrounded around the importance of the temple and weekly attend the temple to participate in the sacred covenants within it. I know I am very blessed by fulfilling my church callings.

What is faith?

Tamee
To me faith is to trust in Heavenly Father knowing that His plan for you is the best one. When a person truly exercises faith they are patient and willing to submit to the will of God. The more faith a person exercises the easier it becomes to keep the commandments and do what is right. Show more Show less
