About Me

Hi I am kylee! This is what I wrote two years ago when I was 17: I am 17 years old. I love sports; I also love to run. I absolutely LOVE music especially playing the piano.I love to read and write.I love art and basically anything there is to do with it; music, poetry, drawing, photography etc.. I love creating things! it doesn't matter what.I like trying new things and learning.I have a big family and I'm the oldest girl. I love art and having fun. I am homeschooled and I'm planning on attending BYU in the future and possibly serving a mission. I am now 19 and I have made the decision to serve a full time mission! I love the gospel so much and I am so excited to share the gospel with others. I love being mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I was born and have been raised in the church. I'm so grateful for this though, because I know that this church is the key to being truely happy. Church is the thing that guides me throughout my life. I would be completely lost without it.

How I live my faith

I'm the laurel president in the young womens presidency in my ward. I go to the bishops youth council meetings to plan fun and spriritual-uplifting-activities for the youth in my ward. I enjoy going to youth activities such as young womens and mutual activities on wednesday nights.

What is being a Mormon like?

Kylee
Being a mormon is amazing. If you are a non-member or not active you will never regret coming to a church meeting. church makes me so happy. It has helped me find my place in life and what my duty as a daughter of god is. In the church I have also come to earnestly know that I am a daughter of my heavenly father who loves me. Church gives me a solid ground. When ever there is a problem in my life I come to pull through it and know what to do because I can pray to my heavenly father and I have so many church leaders with open arms to help me whenever I ask. The church has taught me everything about the importance of family. People at church are so loving. We all make mistakes. But we are all hoping to help each other do their best in life so we can one day be together with each other and our heavenly father again. Everyday i go to seminary. On sundays I go to church. On wednesdays I go to mutual ( lds chruch youth goup) or young womens (youth group for girls). I go to church dances, young womens summer camp, youth conference, and lots of other fun activities that we plan for lds youth to enjoy together. There's church choirs, and arts/craft nights and everything. It's so much fun and I learn a lot. It really keeps me busy and out of trouble. I love it! So just know that us mormons offer open arms. As a young women in the church I wish everyone could be a mormon and be as happy as I am. Show more Show less
