Hi I'm Kaitlyn Marler

I'm a full-time missionary for the Lord in Fresno, California. My testimony has changed my life. I am proudly a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a pretty normal twenty-year-old college student. I love firearms, languages, broccoli, figuring out the motivations of others, and school. I'm a total nerd. I love studying and being lectured to. I want to be either a psychologist, a linguist, a social, worker, a professor, or just a mommy. I love being active, helping others, and laughing. A day is worth nothing if it isn't done with a smile. I'm a mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a loving home where I know my parents love each other. I know we will all be together for the rest of eternity. I know this because I have prayed about it and received an answer. I know my Heavenly Father (God) loves me, knows me, blesses me, and looks out for me every single day. Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself for me, and I am eternally grateful and indebted to Him for His love. He atoned (or took upon Himself our sins, so we may be clean) for every person who has ever lived and who will ever live. I have had some rough times in life where I felt like no one understood what was going on. Just when I wanted to give up, I was reminded of Jesus Christ's suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane. He felt exactly what I have felt; He knows what I have been through and went through it too; He took every negative emotion that I have ever had or will ever have so that I never have to feel it again. I can be clean through Him and Him alone. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon church) is centered on Jesus Christ. We are Christians. Everything in Heavenly Father's perfect plan revolves around the atonement of Jesus Christ. Families can be together forever because of the atonement of Jesus Christ. We can all live again with God, our Heavenly Father, because of Jesus Christ. I love my Heavenly Father and I am grateful to Him for giving me life. I am grateful for the priesthood, restored again in the latter days. Pray about it. I'm proudly a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love to share the Gospel. I know it's true. I show my faith in Christ everyday (as a missionary AND as a 20 year-old young woman) by loving, serving, being kind to, and sharing the Gospel with those I come in contact with. We are all children of God, we all deserve to hear His truth. As members of the Church, we have a responsibility to give everyone the chance and the choice to come unto Christ through the restored Gospel.
