Hi I'm Candice

I like red fish. Sometimes I spell words the way they're pronounced. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my life. I want other people to love life and to be happy as well. I feel like I am someone who is hungry to experience and learn about every good thing that exists. I studied History in college and plan on becoming a physical therapist. I grew up on a small farm in Idaho and spent many hours of my youth with my siblings and potatoes (wild child). I think that pie is amazing. Biographies are my favorite. I am fascinated with art, especially Impressionism. If you ask me about something and I don't know the answer, I will tell you. Two things that give me the best feeling or natural high: The spirit and physical exertion. I enjoy playing a good game of soccer. I was introduced to the sport in 4th grade and went to my first practice wearing sandals. I love it because it's very tactical, but also extremely liberating. I enjoy coaching. I find it to be one of the most challenging roles, but also one of the most rewarding.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it's true and I know it and I wouldn't be at peace with myself if I didn't live according to the knowledge that I have.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving as a missionary in Alaska. I try to be a good person by being honest, working hard, and serving others. I live my faith by trying each day to become more like the Savior. Some days are better than others, but it is something I am constantly learning more about and working toward.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

It's not an equality issue. It's about roles and responsibilities given to us by God. Show more Show less
