Hi I'm Paul

I grew up in Washington, but i have Hawaiian blood in me. I love playing tennis and volleyball. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a small college town and love it. It is much more peaceful compared to the big cities and yet it still has all the things you need. Grocery stores, parks, and just enough people to where you dont know them all. It also has its own little highschool. Our highschool was alright. Not to big but not to small. I played tennis all 4 years and have really loved the sport. I played on varsity all 4 years and we just have a blast. We goof around and hit balls at eachother and still had a pretty decent team. During my senior year I started playing volleyball on tuesday nights. not for my school but just with some friends. They were all really good, so i got to be pretty good. i came to really like this sport as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and was told it was true all my life. But, I came to find out about its truth for myself at the age of 16. I read the Book of Mormon and i prayed to know if it is true. I didnt recieve the answer I expected. I expected a huge warmth because thats what everyone told me happened to them. But after I prayed I didnt feel that. I was confused, so many others felt it and knew that the church was true, so why didnt I. I started to wonder if this church was for me. Well, one week after I read and was asking myself these questions my younger sister read a story to me about a girl with the same problem. She had read the Book of Mormon 3 times in one year. She prayed after everytime. the first 2 times she didnt feel that it was true. the third time though, she had a thought pop into her mind. How was her life over that past year. she relized that her life was much happier when she read the Book of Mormon. i have found this to be true as well not only with the scriptures but with this church. My life is so full of joy and happiness and I know that it is because of this church. This is the true church of God.

How I live my faith

Everyday I do all that I can so that i will be a worthy member of this church. I keep the commandments as best as I can and i repent when I need to because I'm not perfect and will make mistakes. I am currently serving a mission so that i can help other to find that this is the true church of God. I want everyone to feel the joy that I know comes from the church.
