Hi I'm Sister Lindsay Drake

I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. I am the oldest of five children and serving a full time mission in Columbus, Ohio.

About Me

I am going to school to become an elementary school teacher. I have a large loving family, and very close friends that support me in everything I do. I enjoy playing sports; softball especially! I enjoy baking in my spare time, and playing my violin. I always have something to keep me busy, and I like it that way. I love jeeping/off roading with my family and friends and being a missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I have always had a testimony of it. I feel the spirit strongly and try to live my life in a way that I can have him in my life always. When I was eight years old I had the opportunity to go with my my family on a road trip to Nauvoo, Illinois. I able to see in person a glimpse of Joseph Smith's life and his legacy that he left behind. He truly was a prophet of god and did restore this true gosple and I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of god. I will never be the same after that experience. I am so pleased with the church and all the many things that we are able to do to spread the gosple and help others find the truth. I do not want to keep all of this happiness to myself, I must share it with others.

How I live my faith

I faithfully live the gosple by attending church every sunday, going to the temple monthly, and staying inrolled in Institute classes. I also read my scriptures daily and pray several times a day as we are taught to do. Life is not the same and as fufilling if I do not do these things. I know that I am on this earth now for a reason, and I am not going to waist my opportunity to share the gosple. Family is the most important part of my life. I do not know where I would be without them. I am grateful to have the priesthood in my home and have access to blessings from the lord when I need them. The church is my safe place and always will be.
