Hi I'm Trevor

I am a skier, musician, missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love all things out doors! I have always just had a special love for nature, sports, and my family. When I get the chance to mix them all three I always do! I have been skiing with my family since I was two years old. This has been a huge part of my life! Other things I love doing with my family are rock climbing, scuba diving, long boarding, mountain biking, playing African drums with my brothers and Dad, boating and everything in between! Right now all that is put on hold for two years. I get to be a missionary right now! I am able to teach others about Christ every day for two years. I am serving a Spanish speaking mission in South Carolina! This is the best!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, but I also had defining moments that helped me to come to a knowledge that this is right and true. Many of these moments were special experiences I have been able to share with my family, but also even with my best friends. In high school I had to make a huge decision between friends and living my faith the way God expects. My decision was to live what I believe. At times it was so hard because I just didn't feel like I fit in anywhere. All the kids that were more like me were not making the best choices and the ones that lived my standards were hard to fit in with at the time. I felt really alone at times, but the knowledge that I had of Jesus Christ and that he is really the only one that is always there for us was such a comfort. I was blessed for my obedience after high school. The Lord blessed me with the best friends i have ever had in my life, and because of this I came to a greater understanding and faith in the book of Mormon, prophets, and mostly Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Right now I am able to live my faith more than ever before! I am a full time missionary. I am now in South Carolina serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was assigned to speak Spanish on my mission, so I get the opportunity to teach many people from other countries about our savior. It is an amazing experience to see miracles each day as I am able to give all my time, efforts, and talents to the Lord and his work. My purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith, baptism, receiving the holy ghost and enduring to the end! I live my purpose and love it so much!

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Trevor
The authority to baptize has always been super important, even in ancient times. Jesus Christ his self walked eighty miles just to be baptized my john the baptist. Reason being, that John had the authority to baptize and act in the name of God. You can say that being baptized by some one who has the authority is like getting our father in heavens approval. The authority, along with other key elements, makes a baptism valid so that we can receive a remission of our sins. Show more Show less
