Hi I'm Holli

I'm a runner. I love cooking. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read good books, cook my heart out and laugh till my side hurts! I am a runner and cyclist at heart and I'm currently serving as a full time missionary in Ontario, Canada and I love it! I was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho, USA and I went to school at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I hope to become a nurse and eventually a full time Mother.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! It gives me purpose in life and something to live for. It makes me who I am and brings a smile to my face and joy and peace to my life. I'm a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is His church on the earth today. When I was 15 years old I wanted to know if God was real so I did what I was always taught. I prayed with real intent and faith and I am here today to tell you that he does exsist. He knows us each personally and loves us more than we can comprehend. You can know for yourself as well; all you have to do is ask Him. It's through many personal experiences that I have come to know and feel my Savior's love for me in my life and that peace comes through living His gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in everyway. By the words I speak and how I treat others. I follow the example of Jesus Christ and love with all my heart. I live my faith by what I choose to do on a daily basis. I serve, lift and help others around me. And most of all, I live my faith by striving to be more like my Savior Jesus Christ. Right now I live my faith by teaching and serving. I teach the world. From India to Haiti, I stand as a witness that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and I share that truth with others around me.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Holli
Everything in my life denotes that there is a God. When I pray I feel that someone is listening. The incredible intricacy of the human body or the miracle of a new born baby is a testimony to me that there is a supreme creature and that we didn't just happen by chance. My family and the love that I have for them. All good things in life. When we give service to others and look for the good we always find it and it is a testimony to me that God exists. He is there and He loves us. We just have to be willing to look for Him. Show more Show less
