Hi I'm Lauren

I am a full time missionary. I am a dreamer. And I love to laugh. Make each day a little better than the last.

About Me

I am a busy college student trying to juggle my academic, social, and physical life. I love to exercise, a little too much. I ran Track and Cross Country for my University for 2 years. I love to laugh and find myself laughing often. I believe laughter is the best medicine. I love to write and have a blog so that I can do just that. I am majoring in Special Education and know the worth of every soul is great in the sight of God. My motto is to Live, Laugh, and Love. Live every individual moment as best as you can. Laugh whenever and where ever, it keeps you sane. Love whatever and whomever you come in contact with, this world needs more love and less hate. I am a Christmas music fanatic! I listen to it almost everyday, mainly because its so happy and brings that wonderful Christmas spirit! While life gets busy and stressful I always look ahead. I looking ahead with excitement! I am currently servubg a mission in Lyon, France! I love the French people and speaking the beauiful language of French. There is so much to look forward to even in this crazy world, find what you love and do it!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life, born and raised. There was a time in my life where I questioned whether or not this was the true church, I thought: how could I know if it is because I haven't experienced anything else. I decided to take my concerns and thoughts to the Lord through prayer. I asked him whether or not this is the right faith. I heard a distinct voice in my head say: Lauren, do not doubt what you already know to be true. I then began reminiscing on times in my life that this gospel, The Church of Jesus Christ, has blessed and confirmed my strong testimony. I know this church is true. I dont need to try out other faiths or stop going to this church to find out if it is true or right, because I know it is, I have always known. My faith will never cease. I feel blessed and honored to be born and raised in the thing that has and will forever bless my life.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary in the France Lyon Mission. Serving in the South of France is such a blessing. I am amazed and the growth and love I see around me everyday. Serving a mission is a full time job, you are always going 24/7 but having the spirit of God close to you daily make you a little less tired and ready for more. I see tender mercies of the Lord daily and know without a doubt God knows me personally. The Lord truly knows each of us by giving us opportunities to serve in callings that will help, benefit, and even stretch us a little.
