Hi I'm Malori Jo

I am a talk radio junkie, I love musical theater, I'm learning how to sew (slowly), and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I met my husband on a blind date and married him a short 5 months later, and it was the best decision I have ever made! He just completed law school - phew - and now it's my turn to go back to school. I have fallen in love with politics and can't get enough talk radio! I am also in love with musical theater and have played some really fun roles including Marion Paroo (The Music Man) and Winifred the Woebegone (Once Upon a Mattress). I am currently working at a nursing home for the elderly, and, while it is very hard work, it is so wonderful to spend my days giving service to people who can no longer take care of themselves. Besides, I really love listening to their life stories! I'm a really lucky girl!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ, and through personal revelation, I know that this is His true church here on the earth. I know that I am a daughter of God and that He has a plan of happiness for me and for all of His children here on the earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and it's so exciting to have an opportunity to learn more about Him and His ministry. Simply, I'm a Mormon because nothing makes me happier and gives me more comfort and strength.

How I live my faith

My faith gives me the opportunity to teach young children about Jesus Christ, and to get to know and give service to other women around the community and in my church. I love the way the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints encourages service not only within the church, but also in the communities and throughout the world! I haven't personally been outside of the country, but through the church, I have been able to give aid to victims of different natural and economical disasters all around the world from my own little town. It is such an incredible feeling!! It really makes the world feel like a much smaller place, because we are all connected as brothers and sisters.
